Making waves with the Scallop Border Punch...

This card is for a swap I am in at the Stampin Up! convention this year.  We are suppose to be making kid cards.  Since I  don't have any kids of my own I thought this would be a good chance to make up some fun cards.  This idea has been brewing in my head for a while with the new scallop border punch.   When I would punch out the scallop border I kept seeing waving also so I decided to make a card using the scallop border and the scraps from when you punch it!   So what do you think???  

 

I chose to use the new in colors Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss.  I stamped the main image and then cut it out and mounted it with stampin dimensionals.  I also put some dimension under one of the waves and then used the white gel pen to make some white caps.  You can't tell to much from the picture but I also chalked a little blue for the sky along with the yellow for the sun.  Hope you like it!!  :)
