Well today was a VERY LONG day.. we just got back to our rooms and it is almost 11pm and we have to be back there at 7 30 am. SO I don't have time to upload any pics tonight. I did want to mention that I noticed some chatter on whether or not the catalogs for everyone would be spiral bound, and I am not sure. I thought since ours was that maybe they changed it, but not sure. Sorry! I will let you know when I find out :)
I can tell you that the Designer series paper, Tart n Tangy and One smart cookie made it into the catalog :) WOOHOOO

This is sooo awesome. Ok enough with the chit chat I know you just want pictures!! :) Just so you know I am not going to worry about the layout to much because I am exhausted :) Also the lighting in my hotel room isnt that great...lol
More hopefully tomorrow... Goodnight!

Well today I did A LOT of stamping!!! But you wouldn't know if from my blog :( Sorry I went over to a friends house today to hang out and stamp some of her images. She has a lot of Bellas and Rileys.. I was in heaven!!! I will have to create some neat cards and show them off. Of course I don't think I will have time before convention. So until then here is something I received in the mail from a secret sister :) I think it is soo cute!

This card is for a swap I am in at the Stampin Up! convention this year. We are suppose to be making kid cards. Since I don't have any kids of my own I thought this would be a good chance to make up some fun cards. This idea has been brewing in my head for a while with the new scallop border punch. When I would punch out the scallop border I kept seeing waving also so I decided to make a card using the scallop border and the scraps from when you punch it! So what do you think???
I chose to use the new in colors Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss. I stamped the main image and then cut it out and mounted it with stampin dimensionals. I also put some dimension under one of the waves and then used the white gel pen to make some white caps. You can't tell to much from the picture but I also chalked a little blue for the sky along with the yellow for the sun. Hope you like it!! :)
Here are pictures of the punch with to me what looks like waves:)
Thanks for looking!!

Stampin Up! is having a 25 % off sale for limited retiring accessories!!! Yes you heard me right 25% off!! If you place your order of $30 or more with me I can have it shipped directly to you :) Plus I will send you a mystery gift free as a THANK YOU! Just send me an email with your order and payment information in the comments section and I will get it submitted as quickly as possible. There are sure to be quick sell outs so act fast!
Today I took some pictures of the new "in colors" from Stampin Up!. I think they are going to be some fun colors to work with. I am surprised at how much I am liking the Pacific Point. My friends that know me will think that's odd since I am a "green" person myself. Now don't get me wrong I like Kiwi Kiss too but I like the Pacific Point much better than the Brilliant Blue we have now. Also just to point it out I noticed I spelled Brilliant wrong on the picture and it's a lot of work to change it so I just left it misspelled. Oh well, gives it character...LOL
I will be doing a color swatch key ring share starting Aug. 11th so if anyone is interested email me at email@example.com for the details. Also if you pre-order a NEW catalog for $7.95 (plus $2.00 shipping) you will also receive a coupon for 5 yards FREE of assorted SU grosgrain ribbon with your 1st $50 order through me:) I love new customers... so join the fun!
I will be back later with more sneak peaks so stay tuned!

Yeah it's almost the weekend!! That's a good thing and a bad thing as I am still preparing things for an open house I am having this weekend. Today I was working on things for display and little gifts to give out. I was making the nugget boxes to give one to everyone that comes and then it was as if a light bulb went off inside my head. (no comments from the peanut gallery :) I decided to change the dimensions a bit so that I could fit 2 Stampin Spots inside as a cute giveaway prize. Note the stamp, it's from one of the new hostess stamps from the new catalog. I love it!
You could also fit 1 incentive stamp and 1 stampin spot or change the dimensions just a little more and put 3 incentive stamps in it. It was fun to see all the things I could fit into it. I also decided to do a clear cover so that you could see whats inside. Tomorrow I am going to be making the ones with candy...yum yum. If you want the dimensions for these let me know.
Thanks for looking!
Maybe later today I will post another picture of a card, but for now I found this site Old Red Barn Co. that is giving away this GORGEOUS quilt. Aside from paper crafts I also do some quilting and sewing so I wanted to share this giveaway with all of you. Just click on the link and leave her a comment for a chance to win! Good luck! (even though I want to win it)

Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday!! Here is my take on the mini pizza box that I found on SCS. I am starting way early and making gifts to give during the holidays to family and friends. Maybe this year I will be ahead of the game instead of behind like normal :)
I decided to use up some retired DSP paper Recollections and Greetings Galore that will retire August 10, 2008 from Stampin Up! The size of the cards are 3"x3" and for 8 cards I only used 2 sheets of card stock and 1 sheet of DSP. I wanted the flowers to be the same colors of my card stock so I dyed them with reinkers. Now my fingers are dyed as well... I guess I could have used tweezers but that's not as fun!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Saturday. Hubby and I just stayed at home today. I had to finish getting the supplies ready for an upcoming class and hubby needed to do things around the house. I love the Very Punny set from sell-a-bration not to mention it was free :) It is just a cute set all around for little things. I made some book
markers out of the jumbo paperclips. Someone actually placed an order for me to make some but wanted them for file markers. Here are pictures of both sets.
Recipe: Various colors from Stampin Up, Very Punny stamp set, scallop punch, circle punch
Thanks for looking!
I have bunches to do today so not much time to blog :( I wanted to show you another gift I made for a friend. This is a tote made out of one sheet of 12 x 12. I can't remember where I saw the tutorial on it ...:( I visit so many blogs and get ideas but then when I actually get around to make them I forget. I will be back later to give all the details for the cards. Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!!!

Can't say who because then she would know! However there is a hint in the pictures...lol A rather big hint if you ask me :)
This is the inside of the journal and I didn't think want to leave it blue so I covered it as well. The spiral punch from Stampin Up! works great for this journal.
I hope she will really like it. I LOVE the saying on the front. lol :) Thanks for looking!!
Journal recipe: Sassy Suzie (retired) SU! chocolate chip satin ribbon, pink grosgrain, berry bliss dsp, whisper white and chocolate chip cardstock. Most SU! products.
I love this paper from Stampin Up! called Ginger Blossoms. It coordinates with the stamp set Embrace Life. Unfortunately the DSP (designer series paper) Ginger Blossoms, the double stitched ribbon Groovy Guava and the cardstock colors that match it will be retiring August 10! So if you are loving these colors and papers as much as I am then you better stock up!
I made this cute little notebook for a secret sister of mine :) I just covered an existing notebook with paper and stamped some images. I used the scallop punch from Stampin Up! to give it a little wow!
Card Recipe: Ginger Blossoms DSP, Groovy Guava ribbon, word window punch, scallop punch, river rock & groovy guava cardstock, crop-a-dile.
Thanks for looking!

These are the cards I made when we moved from Hawaii to Texas. I knew I wanted to use the stamp set Boatloads of Fun from SU! It was just too fitting :) I love this set because you can use all of the accessories to put anything in the boat! If you notice I did each of them a little different. I was trying to decide which style I liked better. On one of them my husband was like...wait a minute you put ME in the dingy and the dog in the boat with you!!! LOL Oh well! Hope you like them :)
Card Recipe: Boatloads of Fun Stampin up, Crazy Alphabet (retired SU), Other stamps. Ruby Red, Old Olive Cardstock SU. Tab punch SU, Mat Pat SU...
