Upsy Daisy

Hi ladies...

I am sooo happy I got this set Upsy Daisy when it was on sale this past month. I am loving the techniques you can do with the silhouettes stamps. The new Urban Garden DSP paper is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I love the color combination in this set. These are two cards I made using some new in colors and the new dsp from Urban Garden!

Hope you like them!!

I'm BACK! :)

Hi everyone...

Sorry that is has been almost ONE month since my last post. This past month has been filled with doctor appts., dh had shoulder surgery, parents flew in to visit and help out, more physical therapy appts.. and so forth. I had to let my blog take a back seat for a while. Things should be settling down now (except for the pt appts) and I should be able to post regularly again. Hope you are still visiting my blog :)

Thanks & happy stamping!!

Seashells on the sea shore ......

Hi Everyone,

I tried my hand at yet another one of MZ's creations. Are you getting tired of seeing them??? lol This image is from the retired set sweet seasons. I love this set because there are 4 images and one of them is a snowman!!! For those of you that don't know I LOVE snowman so any set that has one in it is alright by me :)

The colors used on this card are tempting turquoise, baja breeze, soft sky, creamy caramel, close to cocoa, white gel pen. The canvas background that is still current was used over the entire image.

Thanks for looking!

Another Zindorf inspired card...

I just love her work and how she takes and makes a scene with her stamps. This is another one similar to hers. I didn't have the exact stamp set nor colors that she used but I am happy with the way it turned out. Hope you agree :)

The stamp images I used are from the Lovely as a Tree set, and the new set Inspired by Nature. I really like the grass image from the inspired by nature set. The colors I used were bashful blue, old olive, lavender lace, always artichoke, close to cocoa and whisper white.

Inspired by Nature....

Hi Everyone!

Today I actually had time to stamp. It has been a little bit since I have stamped anything so I am happy to have a new card and picture for you. I love Michelle's work and wanted to try the techniques myself so I grabbed a new set and went to work. If you haven't tried using your brayer you really need to give it a try!

These are the cards that my friend and I completed. We really love the way they turned out! Ya wanna guess which one I did?? LOL

The colors of cardstock that were used were Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, More Mustard, Black, Barely Banana & Brown. The grass is from the new stamp set Inspired by Nature. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this set. The arrows are from the arrow punch by SU. All products are Stampin UP! If you have any questions just email me!

DSP Gift bag..

Hi Ladies

Seem things never slow down enough lately for me to regularly update my blog :( I needed a quick gift bag to take over to my girlfriends house last night. It was her birthday recently and I had a stamp set she had been wanting so I gave it to her. All the quick little totes and bags I kept seeing online weren't big enough to put it in. So I remembered learning how to do this bag from my adopted upline. I hope you like it :)

It is made with 2 sheets of DSP so the dimensions of the bag are pretty big. I was able to put in the stamp set, tissue paper and card with plenty of room to spare. When I took it over to her house she loved it and I think was surprised when I told her I made it out of DSP. She then wanted the DSP paper but it is retired :( I still have some in my stash that I am going to give her ..wink wink.

Thanks for looking!

Pictures as promised!!

Here are two of the make and takes that I did at convention.  The first one is one of those white paper totes that SIMG_2571U sells covered in DSP.  It is the new in color Tangerine Tango :)  The ribbon is the NEW so saffron twill, it is soooo soft and pretty.   I am loving this stamp set Inspired  by Nature.  It is a double mounted stamp so its like having 2 background stamps on one block!  When I first got the set I wasn't to sure about it, but since I have used it a few times I can say its going to be a favorite!!

The next picture is of a quick 8 x 8 scrapbook page.  Uses the new flower fusion felt flower in bajIMG_2572a breeze.  LOVE THEM!!  Thanks for looking!!

Sorry for the absence...

Hi everyone,

I am sorry I haven't posted anything in about 5 days. Things have been crazy since I have been back from convention. I had company, hubby had eye surgery...the good kind. He know doesn't have to wear glasses! He is very excited about it, since about a year ago they said he didn't qualify but the technology has advanced and he qualified! So I had to drive him everywhere for about a week before he was released to drive. During that time our dog had to have surgery as well to have a lump removed off his leg. We had it tested and it was a mast cell tumor so we are happy to have caught it and removed it early on. He still has his stitches in and it is about 3 1/2 to 4 inches long. YUCK! I don't do well with blood. He is doing well even though he wants to lick the stitches.

I promise tomorrow I will post a picture of a couple of items I made while at convention :) Thanks for still checking in, I appreciate it!
